We loved nice rural location.
The breakfast food was tasty and fairly-priced.

Our room was clean for our needs and the overall experience was fab. Location: the hotel was near the Brecon Beacons, garden, and the festival. Also, there was Parc Bryn Bach, set within 10 minutes drive...

It was comfy, welcoming and for our needs. Essentials that you need, such as tea and coffee, a TV, and coffee/tea making machines, were there. This accommodation had a central setting close to the hills.
Well, the area was really busy overall.

The location was magnificent, in the Hillside.

Clean, spacious accommodations with good radiators and comfortable double beds. A sizable, well-equipped bathroom makes it easy to freshen up. Breakfast options, especially the Full English, are substantial and delicious.
Shower pressure disappointing, with a cramped design that could use some attention. The heating in my main bedroom wasn't functioning properly, made for a chilly night despite assurances it would be resolved. Location felt a bit isolated. Having a vehicle is necessary as it's not close to other amenities.

ample parking, separate sleeping area, charming decor
Heating in the main bedroom ineffective!!! The bathroom's carpet choice raises hygiene concerns along with a cramped shower. TV lacking live channels adds to frustrations!!! Access at arrival and departure lacks efficiency!!!

The cute atmosphere immediately sets this place apart. The evening meal served by the dedicated staff was lovely. Those lamb chops were the largest and most succulent I've ever had. A slight inconvenience occurred since we arrived on a night when meals weren't typically offered, but the chef graciously accommodated us. The bar had limited offerings that evening, yet the quality of the food more than made up for it.

I stayed at The Castle Inn for a weekend with friends. The staff were super friendly and cute. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we loved the fantastic meals served in the restaurant. The location was great too, with lovely local shops and even a cinema just a short drive away!
The shower had poor water pressure.

good family stay but minor improvements needed
The family room offered excellent space for our children, allowing them to have their own area. The parking availability was a plus.
The cleanliness of the bathroom could be improved.

Had an awesome getaway with friends! We explored the lovely local shops and found a great shopping centre and cinema about a 10-minute drive away. The staff were super friendly, and the food was great. The room was spacious and comfortable-ideal for our group. I highly recommend the meals here. They were fantastic!
One downside was the water pressure in the shower. It could have been better. The curtain was tricky to manage but manageable enough. It's something to keep in mind, especially for a larger group.
